Storm X-Men Movie Design ( Production painting )

Finally! - Following on from my concept design of an MCU style Storm I really wanted create a production style painting of her in the appropriate Storm-like pose. As you can probably tell I would love to see the X-Men introduced into the MCU at some point. For this design I was inspired by Storms original Dave Cockrum costume from Giant-Size_X-Men #1, but with some Wakandan influences aswell. I imagine it would be cool if Storm was introduced into the MCU by the Black Panther in some way. Maybe at a time when she was being worshipped as a God in Kenya. So for her costume I imagine T'Challa and Shuri gearing her up with Wakandan technology, but also keeping some decorative elements in respect of her time in Kenya. The painting is a mix of painting, modelling and texturing techniques, so I have included a high res render of her suit. This was a super fun but very challenging piece for me.
